Car

We just recently decided to sell our Corolla for $3,500 and today some guy said he was going to buy it for 3000 but he didn't show back up I was so disappointed we really just want to get rid of it. Jason has been working alot here lately like 14 or 15 hour days so he actually got off at a decent hour today shockingly. David came to our house yesterday and I cooked enough food for an army for Fathers day and then he looked at our desktop and apparently we have a really nasty virus so hopefully I can beg him into coming over tonight to fix it before he goes home. Ava is getting big she has been saying alot of words I didn't even know she knew like I was walking away from jason and her at the store the other day and she said, "Wait Momma Wait" I was like I didn't even know she knew that word and there is a lot more I just can't think of it right now. Jason had a pretty good fathers day Ava got him a softball glove since he just joined a league and he loved it of course maybe that is because he picked it out himself.

Houston

We went to Houston this past weekend for my Mom's 50th birthday. We did so much everyone was just exhausted but we all had a great time. We have really been trying to eat healthy but ever since we went to Houston we have just done horrible so hopefully we can get back on track. We went and ate Chinese food tonight and that was a treat because they just opened the restaurant in portland and that is like the only other restaurant we have here except for chilis. We are fixing to go to Victoria for my niece's bday tomorrow for the weekend so I'm sure that we won't be eating healthy this weekend either. It is so hard to have control of what you eat when you are staying with someone else. Jason has been really busy for the last 3 day working his gauging job and then going to straight to the parade of homes to sit on this really nice house so pray he sells it because he has been working really hard. It would be a really nice commission. We have been trying to figure out if we want to buy a house or not we don't know how long we are going to be here so it's a little scary buying not being so sure, yet I hate making someone else's house payment. Ava and I went to the mall today to go shopping I needed some shorts and that is like the worst feeling ever when you know your overweight and trying on clothes, it just sucks!

Garage Sale

Jason went to the doctor the other day for his rib because it had been hurting in that gallbladder area for like 5 months. The doctor said it was not his gallbladder thank goodness because they were saying he would had to have surgery if it was. Now they think he has an ulcer so they have him on antibiotics to see what happens. We went to the Hooks game tonight with our neighbors but Ava was being unbearable, she was extremely tired and hitting and screaming and pretty much just doing everything in the world to tick me off. We left early needless to say, I have been putting her down for one nap a day at like 12:30 but I'm going to start trying at like 2:30 to lay her down because she is only sleeping to for like 45 minutes so apparently she didn't have enough time to get worn out at 12:30. She just needs more sleep also she is just getting to that age she is almost 2 where she just wants to test everything all of her limits. On the way back from the Hooks game Ava went to sleep so we drove by a garage sale and they had all kinds of toys so bought a whole bunch for like 30 dollars( it was a set). We have been looking sort of looking for a house to buy in January we will see if we find anything, we need to put a little more effort into it.

Beach

We took Ava to the beach today for the first time, and she had a love hate feeling about it. She was having a blast one second and then the next second she was scared. It was understandable though because the waves were definitely coming fast. We went to the Port Aransas beach and it was so much nicer than the Galveston beaches, we all had a good time. We have had a long day today after we got from the beach I rushed to clean the car so that I could get dinner cooked in time to walk with our neighbor, and then while I was cooking dinner Jason suggested we go to the Hooks game. We rushed through dinner and walking so that we could go to the Hooks game in time to get a fleece blanket which we didn't make in time, but Ava was just to exhausted while we there so we had to leave.

Busy, busy, busy

We have been walking every night with our neighbor next door, it has been so good for us. She is a really good influence on us, she asked the first time we walked if we wanted to add a little more to our walk and like 3 miles we were still going. Jason & I are not used to that much walking so it has been great for us, but I admit that I have some pulled muscles and I am definitely sore. We have been going to a lot of Hooks games because we get the free tickets, Ava really seems to enjoy that. We are going to take Ava to the beach for the first time tomorrow, I think she will love it. We have been really trying to keep her busy, and tire her out so she sleeps better. It has been working she slept in her bed from 9 last night to 8 this morning without waking up once, it's a miracle! That is like the 3rd time she has done, I'm ashamed to say that usually she gets in bed with us still but we are slowly improving. Jason's days off are the next two days so we are going to get some stuff in the yard and in the house that has been needing to get done for a while.

Zoo

We took Ava to the zoo last Tuesday when we went to Houston. We went with my Mom, Pop, Jason, Ava, and I, it was a lot of fun but exhausting. Ava really wasn't as into it as I thought she would be, I guess she is still not really old enough to appreciate it. She did like it though, just not as much as I thought. We are going to the Hooks game tonight, so that she be fun. Jason gets tickets for free so that's the only reason we can go so much. I have just been staying busy trying to clean up(which is never-ending) and taking Ava to story time or a playgroup. Jason has not been able to do as much real estate as he would like, but his gauging job is taking a lot of time right now.

Hooks

Jason, Ava, and I went to the CC Hooks game tonight, the minor league team for Astros, it was a lot of fun. Ava had a really good time being able to look at everything, and she was surprisingly easy to handle. We have not been doing a whole lot, we have been trying to get on a health kick. Jason has went w/out a soda for almost 2 weeks, and that was really difficult for him considering how much he used to drink them. Of course I'm supposed to be supportive and stop drinking them too, but I have a had a few because I start getting caffeine headaches without them. That is probably a really strong sign of how much I need to stop drinking them though. We might actually take Ava to her first movie to go see the who movie, the neighbor said her little boy loved it. I am a little nervous about taking her though because I don't know how still she will stay. She does love cartoons though, she is a Winstead.
